Medicare information

Mental Health Treatment Plans & rebates

Some clients with an appropriate Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on a number of sessions per calendar year. Eligibility and rebate amounts are set by Medicare and can change, so we recommend confirming your current eligibility with Medicare before your appointment.

We don't guarantee eligibility, and we can't specify rebate amounts that may change.

Private health insurance

Using your private cover

If you have private health insurance that includes psychology cover, you may be able to claim a benefit. You generally cannot claim both a Medicare rebate and a private health benefit for the same session. Please check your cover with your insurer.

Cancellation policy

We require at least 48 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment without charge. This allows us to offer the time to someone else.

GP referrals

No referral is required to see us privately. A GP referral is only needed if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate via a Mental Health Treatment Plan.

NDIS enquiries

We welcome enquiries from NDIS participants or their representatives. We can discuss whether our services are a suitable fit for your plan and goals.
